These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") set forth the conditions for using the application "Sonamet" (hereinafter referred to as "this App" or "the Service") provided by Negishi Jimpei (hereinafter referred to as "the Provider"). Users must agree to these Terms before using the Service.

1 Application and Agreement

These Terms apply to all relationships between Users and the Provider concerning the use of the Service. By downloading, installing, or accessing this App, Users agree to be bound by all provisions of these Terms.

2 Service Overview and Data Management

Data Storage and User Responsibility

Data entered or created within this App (family composition, stockpile items, notes, photos, etc.) is saved in local device storage. Users are solely responsible for managing their data and performing necessary backups (such as iCloud synchronization or manual file exports).

Local Notifications Awareness

Expiration alerts and reminder notifications are operated by your device's internal local scheduler. Notifications may be delayed or undelivered due to OS power-saving modes, background execution restrictions, notification permissions, or device power states.

3 Paid Subscription (Sonamet Pro) and Payments

Pricing and Payments

"Sonamet Pro" (hereinafter referred to as "Pro Plan") is an auto-renewable subscription service processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store in-app purchase systems. Prices, billing cycles, applicable taxes, and fees are governed by the respective store's terms and displayed information.

Auto-Renewal and Billing Period

Subscriptions automatically renew and bill for the same duration and rate unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing cycle. Any applicable free trial will automatically convert to a paid subscription upon trial expiration.

Cancellation and Unsubscribing

This App does not use proprietary user accounts. Cancellations must be performed directly by the user via their Apple ID or Google Account subscription management settings. Uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Paid features remain accessible until the end of the paid period upon cancellation.

Refund Policy

Payments are non-refundable, and prorated refunds are not issued except where mandated by applicable law. All refund eligibility and processing are determined according to the policies of Apple or Google.

4 Affiliate Links and External Services

  1. Item detail screens in this App contain product purchase links redirecting to external e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Rakuten, etc.).
  2. Some links participate in affiliate marketing programs (e.g., Amazon Associates, Rakuten Affiliate), where the Provider may earn referral commissions from qualifying purchases.
  3. Using affiliate links does not incur any additional cost or fees for the User.
  4. Purchases, payments, shipping, product quality, and returns on external platforms are governed by the respective e-commerce site's terms. The Provider bears no liability for transactions on external sites.

5 Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

  1. [Warranty Waiver] The Provider provides the Service (including all information, calculation logic, features, and notifications) "AS IS" and makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding completeness, accuracy, timeliness, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or freedom from technical errors or bugs.
  2. [Disaster List Guidelines Disclaimer] Disaster preparedness recommendations and supply checklists generated by this App serve merely as general reference information based on public guidelines (such as Cabinet Office benchmarks). They do not guarantee complete protection, safety, or item sufficiency in actual emergency situations. Users are solely responsible for assessing individual needs, household conditions, regional risks, health factors, or pet requirements.
  3. [Disclaimer for Shortages, Expirations, & Notifications] The Provider accepts no liability for physical, financial, property, or consequential damages resulting from item shortages, expired supplies, entry errors, or undelivered/delayed notifications due to OS battery optimizations, settings, or connectivity failures.
  4. [Data Loss Disclaimer] The Provider is not liable for data corruption or loss resulting from device malfunction, device replacement, OS updates, app deletion, or cloud backup failures (such as iCloud), and bears no obligation to restore lost data.
  5. [Limitation of Liability Caps] In the event the Provider is held liable for damages under applicable law, total aggregate liability shall be strictly limited to the amount paid by the User to the Provider in the one (1) month preceding the event, or 1,000 JPY for free users. Under no circumstances shall the Provider be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages or lost profits.

6 Prohibited Conduct

Users shall not engage in any of the following activities when using the Service:

  • Violating laws, regulations, or public order
  • Decompiling, disassembling, or reverse engineering the software code of this App
  • Interfering with or disrupting the functionality of network components or servers associated with the Service
  • Actions that obstruct or impede the proper operation of the Service
  • Other actions deemed inappropriate by the Provider

7 Modifications to Terms

The Provider reserves the right to modify these Terms without prior notice whenever deemed necessary. Revised Terms become effective immediately upon being published on this website.

8 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from or related to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
